Buyer’s Guide For Vitamix Alternatives
Buying the right blender is important, it can be so hard to find a substitute for something as hardcore as a Vitamix.
However there are so many choices, but you need to make the right choice, and this means looking at the right things. So, here are some tips to help you know what you should be looking at before you pick your product!
Blades & Power
View this post on Instagram
If you want a blender that can go through nuts, frozen fruit, tough veg, and seeds, there are plenty of options. However, a low wattage means lower cost. The Oster and KitchenAid are great options for this with a high enough wattage to tackle these.
Breville is good but more expensive and with low wattage, but powerful blades.
Blendtec and Ninja have high wattage, but the blades are different.
All of these are good options, but you need to check that blade quality and power will be enough for what you want to tackle.
Accessories & Speed Range
Some of us do not want a lot of accessories, but some of us do. If you want a plain blender without all the add-ons then the KitchenAid is a great choice, as is the Breville.
But if you want accessories and add-ons then NInja, Oster, and NutriBullet are all ideal, with cups, additional blades, and recipe books.
Heat Cycles
If you want to make soup then a few blenders we mentioned have heat cycles that allow you to make soups. Nutribullet Rc and Blendtec both have these.
The Blendtec cycle is 6 minutes and the Nutribullet is 7, so there is not a lot between them.
Just remember, if soups are on your list for ‘must-have’ in a blender, look to these brands as they tend to match Vitamix’s abilities in this regard.
However, if you want to make soup and ice cream, go for Blendtec as this blender can do both! Wowee!
Single Serve Options
Want a blender that doubles as a personal blender too, then many of our options also have single-serve cups. The Ninja, Oster, and NutriBullet all do.
Having a personal blender can be ideal for those early mornings and a nutritious drink to take to work, if this is something you want, all of these blenders are ideal for you.
Warranties
Finally, think about warranties. All products will come with at least a year’s warranty included, so you are covered for any defects in manufacturing. But, Cleanblend and Blendtec both have super long warranties. If you want coverage for a long time, go for these options!
