This is not a dessert, this healthy carrot cake smoothie is actually good for you, but it tastes so similar to carrot cake. We basically took all the ingredients that make carrot cake, except sugar and oil, and turned them into a smoothie.
You can make this carrot cake smoothie vegan, by using vegan cream cheese instead of dairy cream cheese. Every other ingredient in the recipe is vegan-friendly.
Are Banana And Carrots a Good Combination?
To make this carrot cake smoothie, we used bananas, carrots, and some other ingredients. But you may wonder, whether carrots and bananas are actually a good combination.
The answer is – yes! They both have unique benefits and tastes, but they complement each other very well.
We cooked our carrots before adding them to our blender, which obviously made the blending process easier, but when you cook carrots, they tend to have quite a creamy texture, so alongside the banana, you can achieve a super creamy smoothie.

How To Make Carrot Cake Smoothie With Oats
You will need:
- Cooked Carrots
- Cream Cheese
- Peanut Butter
- Oat Milk
If you don’t like bananas, you can use apples instead of bananas.
To make this smoothie – simply add all the ingredients to a blender, and blitz until completely smooth.

Creamy Healthy Carrot Cake Smoothie
- 1 Blender We used this one
- 1/3 tsp of cinnamon ground
- 1/3 tbsp of nutmeg ground
- 1 small banana peeled
- 1 tbsp of oats use gluten free if needed
- 1 tbsp of cream cheese use vegan cream cheese if needed
- 1 tbsp of peanut butter smooth
- 1/2 cup/75g of cooked carrots we boiled our carrots and left the skin on
- 1 cup/250ml of oat milk
- Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blitz until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy!
