Copycat Costa Mango And Passionfruit Cooler

If you have ever been to Costa Coffee before, you will know that they do some amazing coolers.

One of those is the mango passionfruit cooler. It’s one of my personal favorites.

However, the problem I always have with buying ready-made smoothies is simply the cost, and the number of unhealthy ingredients sometimes they have added to them.

So, why not make them yourself?

My Top Tips For Making This Cooler

One of the key things about making this cooler is the blender you use.

You need a powerful blender to be able to crush through all the frozen fruit and ice.

Other tips include:

  1. Avoid Adding Too Much Extra Liquid: Adding an extra tablespoon or two is okay, but the more you add, the thinner the cooler will be.
  2. Do Not Overblend: You want a chunky icy consistency. Blending for too long will cause the consistency to become smooth, too smooth for a cooler.
  3. Using Frozen Fruit Is Crucial: You will not achieve the icy fruity texture and get close to the Costa Coffee cooler, without frozen fruit.
  4. Drink As Soon As It’s Blended: The drink is ice cold and it will start melting the moment it’s blended. Drink it as soon as it’s ready.

Compatible Blenders

You will need a high-speed blender to crush the frozen ingredients and create a similar texture to the original Costa coffee cooler.
