As a smoothie enthusiast, I had to develop dog smoothie recipes that my best friend can have with me.
The recipes I am sharing today for dog smoothies are approved by my dachshund dog called Alfie, I will leave a picture of him below.
My cute dog is a fussy one when it comes to food. So if he approved the smoothies I created, I am sure your dogs will also love my smoothie recipes!
Can Dogs Have Smoothies?
As humans, we like to share our food with our dogs. However, not all dogs can eat human food. So, can dogs drink smoothies?
Yes! Dogs can eat smoothies, however, they need to be made using ingredients that are suitable for dogs. Not all smoothies are suitable for dogs to consume.
Plain smoothies are usually fine, for example, a banana smoothie with milk, and a bit of peanut butter is totally fine for dogs.
Are Smoothies Good For Dogs?
Now that we have cleared that dogs can drink smoothies if they are done right, are smoothies actually good for dogs?
The answer is yes, smoothies are good for dogs because they provide nutrients and fresh fruit and veggies to their diet.
Some fruit and vegetables can be really good for dogs, which is why treating your dogs to the occasional smoothie can be really good for them.
My Best Dog Smoothie Recipes

And finally, each recipe was tested on my dog Alfie, and he gave a ‘paws up’!
