How To Make Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie Recipe Without Yogurt:

Many people like to add yogurt to their smoothie, so do I, but I found that this kiwi and strawberry smoothie doesn’t need yogurt.

I used frozen strawberries which provided thickness and creaminess to the smoothie.

This smoothie only needs 4 ingredients, which are:

  1. 1 cup Frozen Strawberries
  2. 1 Kiwi
  3. 1 cup Coconut Water
  4. 1 tbsp Chia Seeds

Here’s how to make the smoothie:

  • Peel the kiwi and slice it.
  • Measure the other ingredients.
  • Add the frozen strawberries and chia seeds first to your blender or Nutribullet. They go in first because they need to be closer to the blades, since they are quite difficult to break down.
  • Follow with the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
  • If you want it tasting extra refreshing, feel free to pour the smoothie over ice!

Recipe Customization Ideas

I used 4 simple ingredients to make this smoothie. But there is so much you can do to elevate it a bit more.

You can even swap ingredients as well.

Here are some ideas:

  • Swap the chia seeds for oats instead if you don’t have chia seeds at home.
  • Instead of chia seeds or as an addition to the recipe, add a tablespoon of nut butter. Almond butter works wonderfully.
  • For a thicker and creamier smoothie, you can add 1/2 cup of frozen banana slices.
  • For a high protein smoothie, you can add a scoop of protein powder. I once made this smoothie using unsweetened and unflavored protein powder. it worked great!
  • Substitute the coconut water for dairy-free milk of choice. I used coconut milk from a carton once and the taste was just as good and refreshing.
