If you haven’t tried passionfruit before, you are missing out a lot. Passionfruit looks funny (in our opinion) but oh man, do they taste good!
They are a bit boring eating on their own, but they are amazing in recipes; particularly in desserts.
Now, we like due to previous experience in a dessert we ate a couple of years back, that passion fruit and pineapple work like a dream together. Why? – Because pineapple is sweet, passion fruit is tangy – so it cuts through the sweetness of the pineapple beautifully.
Passion fruit has a sweet-like, tart flavor. It’s hard to compare it to another fruit since it’s so unique. However, if I could try to describe it best I can, it is a combination of the kiwi and pineapple together? Hard to describe it, best if you try it out for yourself!
How To Make Passionfruit Smoothie?
The method is super simple, and the recipe only requires a handful of ingredients. Oh, and the recipe is completely dairy-free and vegan too!
You will need:
2.1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks
3.1 cup of coconut milk
That’s it! Only 3-ingredients!
Prepare the passion fruits by cutting them in half and scooping out the pulp. Add the pulp to a high-speed blender together with the rest of the ingredients, and blitz until completely smooth. 2-3 minutes.
