Healthy Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl that’s perfect for breakfast if topped with crunchy granola.
This apple smoothie bowl tastes just like an apple pie and is so much healthy. Naturally dairy-free and vegan as well!
When you have too many apples around the house after the season – you just have to figure out a way of using them.
Ate loads, baked loads drank loads (in a form of smoothies of course), and froze loads.
We thought we could be creative with some of the frozen apples since they were taking a bit too much space in our freezer.
We haven’t created smoothie bowls using apples before, so we thought to give it a go.
It came out great, particularly for breakfast with some granola. However, we found that we needed a good high-speed blende, a Vitamix worked best.
How To Make Apple Smoothie Bowl:
You will need:
1. Chopped Frozen Apples
2. Oats
3. Peanut Butter
4. Maple Syrup
5. Cinnamon
6. Nutmeg
7. Almond Milk
Add all the ingredients to a blender, and blitz until smooth. If your blender is struggling, give it a little shake, or make sure the frozen apples are not an ice-block.
Serve and top with granola if you like. Enjoy!
You can use any dairy-free or non-dairy-free milk if you like. Also, if you are not a fan of peanut butter, feel free to sub it for other nut butter, or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
