Healthy Banana And Cherry Smoothie – that’s creamy, refreshing and so delicious! Only 3 ingredients are needed for this smoothie recipe. It’s also vegan, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free.
Cherries are probably one of our favorite fruit. Unfortunately, their season is only late spring/early summer, and that’s the best time to buy and consume them.
However, during the cold months, we do still tend to fancy cherries, so we buy frozen ones.
There is nothing better than a refreshing cold cherry smoothie to start the day. We kept this recipe simple and only used 3 ingredients, but we sometimes throw in mint, spinach for extra nutrients and freshness.
Also, in case you didn’t know, cherries and chocolate are a match made in heaven, so you can also add a tablespoon of cocoa powder to make a delicious chocolate cherry smoothie.
This cherry banana smoothie recipe is also perfect for a pre-workout snack because it will give an incredible energy boost.
How To Make Healthy Banana And Cherry Smoothie:
You will need:
1. Frozen Cherries
3. Dairy-Free Milk, we used almond.
The method is, as you probably guess, is to add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender, and blitz until smooth.
Serve and enjoy!
If you are not vegan, feel free to use regular dairy milk. Also, as I mentioned above, you can add extra ingredients of your choice, like cocoa/cacao powder for a delicious chocolate cherry smoothie.

- 1/2 cup/75g of frozen pitted cherries
- 1 ripe small banana
- 1 cup/250ml of almond milk
- Peel and slice the banana, then add all the ingredients to a blender, and blitz until smooth.
