Why You Will Love This Keto Heavy Cream Smoothie

Keto Heavy Cream Smoothie surrounded by blueberries

One of my favorite things about this heavy cream smoothie is the fact that it’s so creamy and indulgent.

Other reasons why I think you will love this smoothie include:

  1. Rich and Creamy Texture: The combination of heavy cream and avocado gives this smoothie a luxuriously creamy texture that’s truly indulgent.
  2. Nutrient-Dense: Packed with vitamins and minerals from avocado, blueberries, and chia seeds, this smoothie is a nutritional powerhouse.
  3. Heart-Healthy Fats: Avocado and chia seeds provide healthy fats, including omega-3 fatty acids, beneficial for heart health.
  4. Naturally Sweet: The natural sweetness from the blueberries makes this smoothie delicious without the need for added sugars.
  5. Satisfying and Filling: High in healthy fats and fiber, this smoothie is particularly satiating, helping to keep you full and satisfied for longer.
  6. Quick and Easy: Simple to make with just a few ingredients, this smoothie is perfect for a quick breakfast or a nourishing snack.
  7. Versatile: Easily adaptable, you can switch out blueberries for other berries or fruits, making it a versatile recipe to suit different tastes.

Smoothie Variations You Will Love

While I personally love the original recipe I shared, there are some other tasty variations you could try!

Some delicious smoothie variations you could that I have tested, include:

  1. Add Leafy Greens: A handful of spinach or kale will not impact the taste or crabs almost at all, but they will add lots of nutrients!
  2. Lower The Calories And Fat: If 625 calories per serving is too much for your goals, use a lower fat heavy cream.
  3. Make The Smoothie Chocolate Flavored: For only 12 extra calories, you can add a taste of chocolate by incorporating a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder!
  4. Tropical Infusion: Swap the heavy cream for coconut milk. It will add a delicious and refreshing tropical taste!
  5. Swap The Seeds: You can use flaxseeds or nut butter instead of chia seeds.

The Equipment

As a professional smoothie recipe developer, I own 10+ different types of blenders.

I love testing all my smoothie recipe using different blender models, because, not everybody has a Vitamix in their home!

Blender Type Suitability
Nutribullet 600
Vitamix Blender Propel 510
BlendJet 4000mAh x
Ninja Blender BL610
Oster 6640 Blender x
Hamilton Beach 58148A Blender
AMZChef Blender 1800 W
Wamife Blender

Only 2 blenders out of the 8 I tested are not compatible with this recipe.

If you do own these 2 blenders, you can still make the recipe work, but you will need to use a lot more liquid than my recipe states.
