Easy delicious Maple Roasted Sweet Potato Smoothie – that will become your new favorite.
Sweet potatoes are a staple in our diet. We have them in stock all the time. However, sometimes we end up having too many in the house, so we need to find unique ways to use them up.
So, we thought, let’s make a smoothie!
We have previously had roasted sweet potato with walnuts and maple syrup, so we thought, let’s combine the same ingredients, but turn it into a smoothie!
The result was omg, SO GOOD! It’s creamy, it’s colorful, it’s filling, it’s tasty…just amazing!
This sweet potato recipe is fully dairy-free and vegan.
Sweet potatoes are so versatile, so incredible, and delicious. We’ve used them in savory dishes, desserts, drinks, we even made chocolate mousse out of them.
They are just incredible. Oh, and they are so good for you, they are loaded with vitamins, fiber and so much more.
How To Make Maple Roasted Sweet Potato Smoothie:
You will need:
- Sweet Potato
- Maple Syrup
- Walnuts
- Dairy-free milk
- Cinnamon
The sweet potato is peeled and diced, then drizzled with maple syrup and baked until soft.
Once baked and cooled, all the ingredients are added to a blender and blitzed until smooth.
That’s it. Easy peasy.
If you have leftover boiled sweet potato or want to boil the sweet potato, instead of roasting it, you can always do that, you just won’t get that caramelized flavor.

Maple Roasted Sweet Potato Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups/200g of sweet potatoes
- 2 tbsp of maple syrup + 2 extra
- 1 cup/220ml of almond milk
- A handful of walnuts
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375F/190C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- The sweet potato is peeled and diced, then drizzled with 2 tbsp of maple syrup and baked until soft. About 25 minutes.
- Once the sweet potato is baked and cooled, all the ingredients are added to a blender and blitzed until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy!
