Have you ever thought about adding marmite to your smoothies? Sounds like a crazy idea, but if you are a lover of marmite, you will know that marmite GOES WITH ANYTHING!
Have you heard of marmite hummus? Yep, that’s a thing. If you can put marmite in hummus, then you know darn well you can add it anywhere.
Our aim of this smoothie is to turn your breakfast into a smoothie (without the toast) We used marmite, peanut butter, and jelly as well as an apple. The combination of ingredients complements each other very well.
We need strong sweetness, hence the strawberry jelly, you can taste the marmite, but very subtly, the other ingredients can be tasted just as much as the marmite. Nothing is overpowering.
If you are adventurous in the kitchen and like to experiment, definitely give this marmite smoothie a go.
If you prefer vegemite to marmite, you can sub marmite for vegemite.
How To Make Marmite Smoothie Recipe:
You will need:
- Marmite
- Apple
- Peanut Butter
- Strawberry Jelly
- Milk (use dairy free if needed)
If you like the taste of marmite quite a lot, then we suggest that you add ab it more than the recipe states. But we wanted to make sure that no flavor overpowers another, so maybe try it as it is, and tweak it to your liking if needed.
To make this smoothie – add all the ingredients to a blender, and blitz!
Serve and enjoy!

Peanut Butter Apple Marmite Smoothie
Equipment
- 1 Blender We used Ninja
Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp of marmite or vegemite
- 1 tsp of strawberry jam jelly
- 1 tbsp of peanut butter
- 1 apple
- 1 cup/250ml of milk
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a blender.
- Blend everything until completely smooth.
- Serve & Enjoy!
