There are some variations of this recipe that you can try.

They won’t impact its weight loss benefits.

Here are some ideas I have tested and loved:

  • If you are not vegan or lactose intolerant, you can use low-fat cow’s milk, which will add more protein, allowing you to feel fuller for longer.
  • Instead of spinach, you can use other leafy greens you have or like, for example, kale is a great option.
  • If you don’t have mango or don’t like it, use pineapple instead, or even frozen berries will work well, although it will change the taste of this green smoothie.
  • You can substitute chia seeds for flaxseeds or oats.

Add-Ins:

  1. Yogurt: Add 1/2 cup of yogurt (use vegan if needed) for extra protein and creaminess.
  2. Sweetness: If you prefer your smoothies sweeter, add 1 teaspoon of maple syrup. This won’t impact the calories per serving much.
  3. Ice: Serve the smoothie over ice, or blend ice cubes for extra freshness and metabolism-boosting properties.

If you are doubling the recipe though, avoid using Nutribullet 600 and BlendJet 4000mAh, because they are for single-serving smoothies.
