We don’t know about you, but for us… Starbucks is the absolute best choice for any drink, even smoothies. As coffee lovers, the potent espresso shots and milky lattes they sell are the best we could ask for. Their coffee beans are just the best you could get!
However, Starbucks sells freshly made smoothies as well! If you are in a summery mood and feel like being fresh, then their smoothies are nutritious, delicious, and an absolute must-have. Head to Starbucks, ASAP!
We are jealous of the Starbucks blender, and the Starbucks smoothies, because they are both quality!
Now, the big issue… Which smoothie do you order? It’s so hard to decide! Let’s check our total guide to the 7 smoothies you should try at Starbucks that are the top of the pops!
7 Starbucks Smoothies You HAVE To Try
We refuse to wait any longer, we have to share these with you! These smoothies are so worth trying this year. Let’s get your taste buds tingling!
#1. Pineapple Coconut Green Smoothie
Are you searching for a tropical smoothie that makes you feel good with green superfoods? Awesome, this is the one for you. We tried this one and if we are honest it is a delicious but also a healthy option that we can’t stop raving about.
It is made with juicy pineapple, vibrant kale, yummy toasted coconut, and blended spinach with ice and coconut milk. If coconut milk is not your vibe, however, you could choose any milk or dairy alternative.
This smoothie is also likely one of Starbucks’ healthiest smoothies, so if you are watching what you ingest, on a diet, or perhaps on a cleanse, this smoothie means you can still enjoy Starbucks! Woo!

#2. Orange Mango Smoothie
We would be lying if we said this was not our own personal favorite. We are just suckers for mango! It is tropical tasting and throws you into hardcore tropic summer vibes.
This delicious smoothie is made with a blend of unsweetened orange mango puree, as well as a single banana, 2% milk, protein powder, and of course, ice.
It is naturally sweet, so there are no additional sugars required to satiate your sugar cravings. Nor are there any added sweeteners either. It just doesn’t need it.
Of course, it is full of citrus high mango and orange, so if you need an Iron and vitamin C boost (like we often do) it is an epic choice.
Fancy grabbing us one on your next Starbucks trip? This just made us want one!
#3. Dragon Fruit Smoothie
Dragon Fruit is not for everyone, on its own it lacks in flavor a bit. However, Starbucks knows how to make bland things taste incredible, they’re the fairy godmother of food and beverages.
This is why we zipped down to our local branch as soon as we caught word of the mango dragon fruit refresher smoothie. However, for refreshment in summer, we can’t help but order the dragon fruit smoothie.
Sure, it might not have that yummy zing that the mango dragon fruit smoothie does, but this is really refreshing and looks so cool!
It is bright pink and red, and it is also incredibly rich in antioxidants, your body is sure to thank you if you try this tasty treat! Even if you aren’t a superfan of dragonfruit, give it a try, trust us when we say you won’t regret it!
#4. Strawberry Banana Smoothie
This is probably the most popular smoothie of all at Starbucks, at least when it comes to the fruit smoothie option. Of course, this is not really a surprise to anyone. Strawberry and banana are classic smoothie flavors, and the Starbucks version is to die for.
It’s a classic, made with Banana, and strawberries, as well as a protein powder and whey and fiber blends.
It is refreshing and makes for a great alternative to Starbucks’ own strawberry-blended lemonade. However, on the downside, it is very high in sugar, much like their strawberry-blended lemonade.
This sugar is derived from natural fruits, but it is still high, so it is not one for anyone trying to keep their blood sugar levels down.

#5. Chocolate Banana Smoothie
Let’s get a bit more naughty. Bananas and chocolate just go well together. While it is hardly the healthiest thing in the world, it is more of a decedent smoothie, and it will certainly satisfy any chocolate cravings you may have.
Made with fiber powder, banana, and whey protein, it is gorgeous. When we need a pick-me-up, we grab this! The grand chocolate banana smoothie has 8 grams of fiber and 20 grams of protein, so why it will be high in sugars, it is also high in good things too.
A happy medium!
#6. Avocado Coffee Smoothie
This does not sound super yummy, but don’t let the concept of avocado and coffee mixed throw you off. It is actually delicious. It is also super creamy thanks to the avocado and the perfect smoothie if you are in dire need of a caffeine boost!
Don’t shun it ‘til you try it!
#7. Cold Brew Smoothie
Another choice for the caffeine addict in you. This is a smoothie that is made with Starbucks’ signature cold brew. The baristas made this legendary beverage with their house-made cold brew, plant protein, banana-date fruit blend, almond milk, almond butter, as well as ice!
We love this, but then again, we are also caffeine addicts. The taste is delicious, but we also love the creaminess and nuttiness that comes from the banana and almond content.
Starbucks ‘Secret’ Menu
You’ve probably heard about the ‘Starbucks secret menu’, it is rife with tea and coffee options but also smoothies too!
Their secret menu items won’t be found on their regular menu, but if you know it exists, you can ask for them. It is such an awesome concept that makes you feel like you’re on the ‘inside’.
Let’s have a look at a couple of the options that the Starbucks Secret Menu can and does offer!
Pumpkin Smoothie
Whenever Starbucks’ pumpkin season starts the coffee-addict community goes crazy. However, with a pumpkin smoothie on the menu, you need to get right down to Starbucks now!
Not only is it lathered in pumpkin flavor and pumpkin spice drizzle, but it is also packed with banana and protein powder for the energy boost you need!
(Great, now we are craving this).
Berry Vanilla Smoothie
This beverage is like the child of a vanilla frappe and a berry smoothie all in one, a wild concept but one your stomach will certainly adore (ours do!) It’s chock-a-block full of berries, coconut milk, and bananas. You can swap out for your preferred milk option too.
It’s one of the best secrets Starbucks ever kept!
Berry Forest Smoothie
This epic smoothie is a concoction of passion tea, berries, and raspberry syrup. It is sweet, seasonal, and sensational!
Cinnamon Dolce
Don’t even get us started on this one! We LOVE cinnamon! It is substantial, sweet, and cinnamony! Just ask your barista for the chocolate smoothie, and just request the matcha be swapped for cinnamon dolce syrup.
3 vanilla bean scoops are added on top of the chocolate smoothie and this sweet treat is born. Who’d have guessed?
Very Berry-Licious
We want to cry. We love this one so much. It is creamy (yum), citrusy (awesome), and sweet (delicious). You pick the milk, then orange slices, a banana, strawberry juice, and berries are added. Then you can add whipped cream if you want a sugar rush!
We can’t emphasize the deliciousness of this beverage enough!
Are Starbucks Drinks Healthy?
We cannot promise that Starbucks drinks are healthy, but they are better than McDonalds or Baskin Robbins. The ingredients are more health-boosting, and where there is a lot of sugar you will also find a lot of protein and fiber too.
They are not super sugary, but the fruit smoothie does still have a high sugar content, although it’s not processed or added sugars
Saying that, they do offer healthier drinks, which aren’t necessarily smoothies. Starbucks has detox drinks and teas that are considered healthy, and some can even help with weight loss!
