Here are the ingredients in this orange power detox smoothie

Orange – We all know that oranges are high in Vitamin C & and they support your immune system. Vitamin C is effective in battling the free radicals which damage your body.

Lemon Juice – Lemon is known to assist the body in detoxification of your body.  It also supports digestion, helping you digest quicker and easier, making it quicker for your body to flush out the stools, typically containing toxins.

Turmeric – Is extremely high in antioxidants. combined with lemon, turmeric can protect your body from infections.  Furthermore, it can lower your cholesterol and assist in better digestion.

Quality Honey – Good quality honey is full of minerals and nutrients. Honey has antimicrobial properties, which assist the detoxication process.

Coconut Water – when it comes to detoxication of your body, especially in the bowels, you need fluids. Fluids will be the force that pushes things out. Coconut water is super hydrating and is also high in potassium.

Ginger – May drastically lower blood sugars and improve heart disease risk factors. Helps if you suffer from indigestion and has anti-inflammatory detox properties.

How To Make Detox Smoothie With Orange:

You will need:

1. Orange
2. Lemon
3. Turmeric Powder
4. Quality Honey
5. Ginger – powdered or freshly minced
6. Coconut Water

The method is simple; once you peel the orange, add all the ingredients to a blender, and blitz until smooth.
You can serve over ice for extra freshness, or even blend ice with the other ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium sized orange peeled and segmented, seeds removed if any
  • 1/2 cup/125ml of coconut water
  • 1/2 tsp of quality honey ideallly raw
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1/4 tsp of dried ginger or 1/2 tsp of freshly minced ginger
  • 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the orange as described.
  • Add all the ingredients to a blender.
  • Blend everything until completely smooth.
  • Serve & Enjoy!

Notes

Best consumed straight away, however, you could refrigerate and drink the next day. Just stir it all.
