Recipe Variations

Since I absolutely love this smoothie, I make it quite regularly.

Each time I make it, I test a different variation. So I thought, why not share it with you?

We all get bored with our usual meals or smoothies, so why not change it up?

If you have reached that stage, here are some variations you could try:

  1. Make It Vegan: The smoothie contains honey, which according to some vegans is not vegan-friendly. To make the smoothie fully vegan, use maple syrup!
  2. Swap The Fruit: The recipe calls for frozen mango. Now, if you don’t have mango, you can use pineapple or even berries. Raspberries and pineapple are what I used.
  3. Add Some Protein: This variation is only suitable for non-vegans. Add 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt.
  4. Green Goodness Variation: Boost nutrition by incorporating a handful of spinach or kale for added vitamins and minerals.
  5. Spiced Delight: Infuse warmth by adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg, elevating the smoothie with cozy and aromatic undertones. I this variation during the cold seasons!
