Not all the blenders and models that I own worked with this recipe.

As you can see based on the pictures, the smoothie comes out quite thick. For that, you need a high-speed blender.

The Blending Process For The Perfect Smoothie:

  • Add Firstly: The Greek yogurt and avocado first. Their creamy base will help other ingredients blend smoothly and evenly.
  • Layer in Spinach: Add the organic spinach over the yogurt. The weight of other ingredients on top will help push the spinach toward the blades.
  • Add Frozen Pineapple: Place the frozen pineapple chunks next. The hardness of the frozen fruit will help grind down the spinach and mix thoroughly with the softer components.
  • Add the Liquid: Adding the liquid is the final stage!
  • Blend: Start blending on a low setting to combine the ingredients, gradually increasing to high until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. If the smoothie seems too thick, add a splash more almond milk and blend again to reach your desired consistency.
