Recipe Variations & Smoothie Notes

Strawberry Mint Smoothie

You can adjust this smoothie easily if you fancy something different.

I have been making this smoothie for a long time.

I often make this smoothie during the summer when I am hosting a party with my friends.

Here are some variations you could try:

  1. Add Some Booze: This smoothie base can be complemented easily with some alcohol. I have tested adding vodka and white rum, and it works fantastically! (Or try my alcohol smoothie recipe)
  2. Throw Extra Greens: Add 1 cup of spinach for extra green goodness.
  3. More Freshness: Add 1/3 cup of sliced cucumber for a more refreshing twist.
  4. Creaminess & Protein: Add 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt if you are not avoiding dairy for a creamy twist that adds protein and probiotics!
  5. The Smoothie Base: Swap the coconut water for vanilla almond milk or regular water.
