We added honey to the smoothie to increase the sweetness, as obviously, this is a recipe for a sweet smoothie. However, the banana and strawberries do provide quite a bit of sweetness, so you can definitely skip the honey.

It can be made vegan-friendly too, but you will need to use maple syrup instead of honey, and replace the yogurt with vegan-friendly yogurt.

This sweet strawberry banana smoothie is thick, creamy, and indulgent, and it packs a lot of goodness your body needs. So, let’s get to it!

How To Make a Smoothie Sweet

You will need:

  • Ripe Banana
  • Strawberries
  • Yogurt
  • Honey
  • Coconut Water or milk
  • Almond Butter

The method is simple – add all your ingredients to a blender, and blitz until smooth. You can serve over ice for extra freshness if you like.

You can make this smoothie totally nut-free if you just skip adding the almond butter, or instead of almond butter, add sunflower seed butter, which is totally nut-free.

  • 1 small ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup/75g of strawberries washed and trimmed
  • 1 tbsp of yogurt
  • 1 tsp of honey
