This is a nourishing blueberry weight loss smoothie recipe, that is going to help you curb cravings and promote satiety.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup/150g of frozen blueberries
  • 200 ml almond milk (unsweetened )
  • 1 small-to-medium sized ripe banana (peeled)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter (unsweetened)
  • 1 handful of spinach (washed)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (we used vegan)

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blitz until smooth. For about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Best consumed straight away, however, you can take it with you on the go.

Optional Substitutions:

There are some ingredients you can substitute in this recipe, here they are:

  • Instead of bananas, you can use mango.
  • If you don’t have almond butter, use peanut butter instead.
  • You can use any protein powder of choice, it doesn’t need to be vegan.
  • Instead of spinach, use other leafy greens of your choice, such as kale.
