Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 medium-sized carrots (peeled and roughly chopped or grated depending on the power of your blender)
  • 2 big oranges (segmented)
  • 2 tbsp of minced fresh ginger root
  • 2 tbsp oats (I used gluten-free oats)
  • 45 cubes of ice + Extra to serve
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the carrots as listed. If you have a strong blender, like a Vitamix, you won’t need to grate the carrots, if not, grate the carrots.
  2. Peel the oranges and segment them and remove the seeds.
  3. Add the carrots to a blender, followed by the minced ginger, and finally the rest of the ingredients.
  4. If using a Vitamix you will only need to blend for 1-2 minutes, if not, blend for 3-4 minutes until completely smooth.
  5. Pour over ice if you like and drink up!
