- 1 small ripe avocado (peeled and pitted)
- 1–2 thick slices of frozen banana
- 1 tbsp of cacao powder unsweetened (or cocoa powder)
- 1/2 cup/120ml of dairy-free milk (unsweetened)
Instructions
- Add the frozen banana slices first to a blender or a food processor, followed by the other ingredients.
- Blend for 3-4 minutes until a smooth consistency.
- Serve the blended smoothie to your favorite bowls, and add your favorite toppings (ensure they are diabetic-friendly).
Notes
Once the smoothie is blended, it is best consumed straight away.
