- 2 medium-sized ripe bananas (or use 2 cups of frozen sliced bananas)
- 2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 cups of milk (can either be dairy, or dairy-free)
- 1 lemon (juice only)
Instructions
- Peel the bananas, wash the blueberries and squeeze the lemon juice from the lemon.
- Add all the ingredients to a blender starting with the frozen fruit first if using, and blend until smooth. NOTE – if you use frozen fruit, you may need to add more milk!
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
Best consumed straight away, however, you could refrigerate and drink the next day. Just stir it all back in. or shake it if using in a bottle.
