- 1 large kiwi
- 1 cup plain unsweetened kefir
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 large handful of spinach (washed)
- 1 tsp of minced ginger root
- Water for blending
Instructions
- Leave the skin on of the kiwi if you don’t mind it, I always leave it on because of the nutrients. Slice the kiwi in quarters.
- Measure the rest of your ingredients. Set them aside.
- Wash your blender. Yes, it’s in your sink!
- Add the kiwi and spinach first to your blender, followed by the rest of your prepared ingredients.
- Start by adding 1-2 tbsp of water. Blend for 2-3 minutes. Add more water during the blending process if needed.
- Taste for sweetness, thickness, etc. To make the smoothie thinner, add a bit more water.
- Serve and enjoy!
