Units Scale
  • 1 large kiwi
  • 1 cup plain unsweetened kefir
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 large handful of spinach (washed)
  • 1 tsp of minced ginger root
  • Water for blending


  1. Leave the skin on of the kiwi if you don’t mind it, I always leave it on because of the nutrients. Slice the kiwi in quarters.
  2. Measure the rest of your ingredients. Set them aside.
  3. Wash your blender. Yes, it’s in your sink!
  4. Add the kiwi and spinach first to your blender, followed by the rest of your prepared ingredients.
  5. Start by adding 1-2 tbsp of water. Blend for 2-3 minutes. Add more water during the blending process if needed.
  6. Taste for sweetness, thickness, etc. To make the smoothie thinner, add a bit more water.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
