- 1 persimmon (diced and cored)
- 1 tbsp almond butter (unsweetened )
- 1 cup/250ml almond milk (unsweetened )
- 1 tsp manuka honey (or regular honey)
- 1 tbsp shelled hemp seed hearts (or chia seeds)
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1 pinch of black pepper (to activate the turmeric.)
Instructions
- Prep the persimmon as listed. Measure the other ingredients and set aside.
- Grab a blender or a Nutribullet and ad the diced persimmon first, followed by the other ingrediennts.
- Blend for 2-3 minutes until you achieve a smooth consistency.
- Sip and enjoy!
Notes
The smoothie can be consumed immediately, or stored for later.
