Ingredients For Making Barbie Smoothie

Barbie is all about pink, so I wanted to select ingredients that I know will create a velvety pink color. But these ingredients also have to work well together too.

So, here are the ingredients I used to make this pink smoothie!

#.1 Strawberries

Strawberries are a popular smoothie ingredient, and of course, strawberries are loved by many.

But, apart from being a popular smoothie choice, strawberries also create a beautiful pink color to smoothies, which is what we want from this Barbie drink!

#2.Beetroot

Beetroot is not liked by everyone, but it’s one of the best ingredients if you want to create a deep pink color, even purple!

If you are making this Barbie smoothie recipe for your kids, it’s unlikely that they like the earthy beetroot.

So, in that case, use raspberries, or extra strawberries instead!

#3. Lime

I used a bit of fresh lime juice, just so it can cut through the sweetness and earthiness of both the strawberries and beetroot.

Lime juice works so well with strawberries too, so to be, lime just adds something extra to this colorful smoothie!

#4. Honey Or Maple Syrup

If you are vegan, use maple syrup, but either way, the use of these sweeteners, is only to make your smoothie taste sweeter and tastier.

As mentioned earlier, this smoothie isn’t just pretty, it’s also so tasty.

#5. Coconut Water

Coconut water is fresh and hydrating, but it’s also great with strawberries. We need a liquid to make a smoothie and the coconut water really brings harmony to this beverage.

How To Make a Barbie Drink Recipe

The method will very much depend on what beetroot you are using.

If you are using raw beetroot, you will need to cut the stems off and peel the beetroot, then dice it.

Once you have the ingredients ready, add them to a blender, and blend until smooth.

Serve this Barbie smoothie, and enjoy!

Variations Of The Barbie Drink

If you are hosting a party with your friends, you can add alcohol to your Barbie drinks, and make fruity cocktails!

You can also decorate them with fresh herbs, such as mint, and serve the smoothies using cocktails glasses.

Either way, this smoothie can be customized easily to suit your intentions and plans!
