Recipe Variations & Tips

I recently made a yogurt orange juice smoothie, but a lot of my followers on TikTok wanted a vegan version with no yogurt.

I started working on a vegan orange juice smoothie recipe, and it came out delicious.

During the development process, I tested out different versions, which perhaps you may like to try?

Here they are:

#1. Change The Fruit

If blueberries aren’t your thing, I suggest that you use pineapple or another type of berry.

Make sure you use frozen fruit though, because it makes the smoothie creamy and thick.

#2. No Banana Version

Many people dislike bananas in their smoothies.

For a banana-free smoothie, swap the bananas for 1/2 cup of mango or pineapple chunks.

#3. Change The Juice

If you don’t have orange juice or simply dislike it, try another type of juice.

I tested pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and apple juice. All these 3 types of juices worked very well.

However, the taste of the smoothie will be altered, depending on the type of juice you use.
