My Smoothie Variations

If you need or want to change the recipe slightly, you can either experiment on your own or try some of my tried and tested suggestions below:

  1. Change The Fruits: You can swap the mango for pineapple or banana, as for the strawberries, you can use blueberries or raspberries.
  2. Make It Vegan: Swap the dairy yogurt for a vegan alternative. Coconut yogurt is my favorite!
  3. No Oats: Swap the oats for either extra chia seeds, or use flaxseeds. To add a totally different taste, use nut butter such as peanut butter.
  4. Boost The Protein Content: Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder for extra protein!
  5. Swap The Milk: You can use oat or soy milk instead of almond milk
