The thing I love the most about this kale cucumber banana smoothie is the fact that even though it contains an abundance of veggies and fruit, it tastes so good!
It’s also very easy to make. 

These are the ingredients you will need to make this spinach kale cucumber smoothie:

  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup frozen banana slices
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2/3 cup coconut water

To make this weight loss kale smoothie with cucumber, add your leafy greens to a blender first, along with the frozen fruit.

Follow up with the rest of the ingredients at the top of the blender. Blend for 4-5 minutes until smooth.
Serve and enjoy!

Obviously, we all different, which is why below you will find options to swap ingredients for others and achieve a smoothie that suits you.

  • Swap the pineapple for mango or berries.
  • Instead of chia seeds, use almond butter or oats.
  • The coconut water can be replaced with regular water or dairy-free milk.
  • If you don’t like bananas, you can use avocado. This will also make this smoothie lower in sugar.
  • For a high protein smoothie, add a scoop of unsweetened and unflavored protein powder.

  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen banana slices
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2/3 cup coconut water


  1. Prepare and measure the ingredients as listed.
  2. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender starting with the leafy greens, frozen banana slices, pineapple chunks, and coconut water.
  3. Blend until smooth. For about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
