Optional Smoothie Variations And Recipe Notes:

If you are anything like me, you like to experiment with recipes and add your own touch.

You can do so easily with this recipe, or you could try some of my suggestions below:

  1. Nut-Free: Swap the peanut butter for either sun butter, or use 1/3 avocado. As for the almond milk, you can use oat or soy milk instead.
  2. Add Something Special: Throw a teaspoon of matcha powder, chia seeds, or other superfoods for an extra something special!
  3. Swap The Pineapple For Other Fruit: I have experimented using berries instead of pineapple, and they worked great!
  4. Boost With Protein: Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for extra protein.

Tips for the Perfect Smoothie

  • Frozen Fruit: Make sure you have frozen bananas and pineapple ready. You can use fresh fruits, but the taste won’t be the same (not be as good).
  • Blending Order: Add soft fruit first (the peach), followed by the frozen fruits and liquid to ease the blending process.
  • Smooth Texture: Don’t be shy about how long you blend the smoothie. You want to achieve an ultra-silky and smooth texture.

The Ideal Blender For The Smoothie:

A high-speed blender such as a Vitamix is obviously preferred, but you can make this smoothie using cheaper blenders such as Oster and Nutribullet.
