Let’s take a look at some of the benefits:

  1. Energizing Coffee Kick: The inclusion of coffee not only infuses this smoothie with a beloved coffee flavor but also provides a caffeine boost, making it perfect for morning energy or a midday pick-me-up.
  2. High Protein Content: With both protein powder and Greek yogurt, this smoothie packs a high-protein punch, supporting muscle repair, growth, and overall satiety, ideal for fitness enthusiasts and anyone looking to increase their protein intake.

Smoothie Variations And Recipe Notes

This smoothie can easily be customized.

Whether you are a vegan, or simply want to swap some ingredients, there are plenty of ways to do that and still achieve a tasty smoothie!

Here are some ideas:

  1. Vegan Smoothie: To make this smoothie vegan, use vegan yogurt, or swap the yogurt for 1/2 avocado. Ensure you also use vegan protein powder. Finally, swap the honey for agave or maple syrup.
  2. No Oats: You can swap the oats for flaxseeds or chia seeds.
  3. The Base: You can use any dairy-free milk of choice, it doesn’t have to be almond. It can be soy or oat for example.
  4. Natural Sweetness: Include 1 type of fruit of your choice. I have tested frozen mango, fresh honeydew melon, and frozen banana slices.  All these worked well.

Equipment:

Blender Type Suitability
Nutribullet 600

AMZChef Blender 1800 W
Wamife Blender

The smoothie is super easy to blend, especially since the only frozen ingredient is ice.

All my 8 blenders and models worked very well with this smoothie recipe.

Even if you own a blender not listed above, I am confident this smoothie recipe will work just fine with it.

If you make a big batch of this coffee peanut butter protein smoothie and intend to drink it for the next couple of days, you will need to store it properly, so it’s safe for consumption and for freshness.

Once it’s made, pour it into your desired water or smoothie bottles, and close the lid tightly.

Keep the bottles with the smoothies in the fridge, and consume the smoothie within 3 days.
