Optional Smoothie Customizations:
If you are feeling extra, you could customize the smoothie.
Add ingredients, swap ingredients, there are many options.
I tested many, but I will only share some of the ones that worked well and were tasty!
Here they are:
- No Avocado Smoothie: If avocado isn’t your thing, you can swap it for banana, or nut butter.
- Extra Protein: If you are not avoiding protein powders, adding a scoop will increase the protein content per serving with another 20-25g.
- Green Power: Boost the nutritional content by adding a handful of spinach or kale to sneak in some extra leafy greens.
- Citrus Zing: Squeeze in some fresh lemon or lime juice to add a refreshing citrus twist and enhance the overall flavor profile of the smoothie.
- Creamy Coconut: Swap soy milk for coconut milk to infuse the smoothie with a tropical coconut flavor and richness.
- Nutty Crunch: Sprinkle crushed nuts like almonds or walnuts on top of the smoothie for added texture and a boost of healthy fats when you serve it.
