The Blender

Using a high-speed blender is crucial if you want to achieve a similar texture to the smoothie you usually get at Smoothie King.

I have used the following blenders and models to make this smoothie:

  • AmzChef Blender.
  • Vitamix Explorian Blender.
  • Nutribullet 900 Series.

All of these blenders worked well. The only caveat is that the Nutribullet may need to be shaken a bit when the smoothie is being blended, other than that, it works fine.

Smoothie Recipe FAQs:

Can I Add Protein Powder To This Smoothie?

Yes! I love adding protein powders to this recipe when I am hitting the gym especially. Just make sure you use unsweetened and unflavored protein powder. You want to make sure you can still taste the fruity flavors.

I Don't Like Banana - Can I Substitute It?

Yes you can. I love swapping the frozen banana for frozen mango or pineapple chunks.

Can I Store This Smoothie For Later?

I do not recommend that you store the smoothie for later. The smoothie is icy and thick, the sooner it's blended, it begins to thaw. Even if you refrigerate it, the texture of the smoothie will change significantly. It's best to drink it immediately.
