You have probably heard of the numerous health benefits of apple cider vinegar. But have you ever thought about putting it in a smoothie…well, we have!
The truth is though, apple cider vinegar doesn’t taste the best, after all, it’s just vinegar. So, adding it to a smoothie is like having it there hidden, without having to taste its strong sour taste.
Is It OK To Put Apple Cider Vinegar In a Smoothie?
Absolutely it#s okay to do that, in fact, it’s recommended, as adding apple cider vinegar to your smoothie will hide the strong flavor of the vinegar, and also add more health benefits to the smoothie.
How Much Apple Cider Vinegar Should You Add To a Smoothie?
This is where it’s important to get the balance right. If you tend to make big smoothies, like a big full jug, and then carry it around with you during the day, then you will need to add more apple cider than usual.
However, if you are making a smaller-ish serving, typically, we tend to stick to the usual amount, which is 1 tablespoon. You don’t want the strong vinegar flavor to overpower the other subtle fruit and vegetable flavors.
