Today we have a delicious and super good-for-you celery smoothie.
We don’t often use celery in our smoothies, so we bought a couple of bunches and decided to start working on several celery smoothie recipes.
And do you know what – when you add celery to your smoothies, they actually taste so good! Celery obviously has quite a strong flavor but combined with other ingredients, it works so well.
Are Celery Smoothies Good For You?
Celery smoothies are incredibly good for you. Celery is extremely low in calories, making it the perfect food for weight loss, it packs antioxidants, and it has an amazing alkalizing effect.
Having a celery smoothie rather than celery juice is actually much better because you end up blending the whole thing, rather than just taking the juice from the celery.
Does Celery Cleanse Your Gut?
Celery is rich in fiber, which is good for your gut. But, celery in itself won’t cleanse your gut, but it can surely support your gut and keep it healthy.
Combine consuming celery with exercise, plenty of water, and other healthy food choices, and you shouldn’t have to cleanse your gut.
How To Make The Best Celery Smoothie
You will need:
- Coconut Water
You can use regular water instead of coconut water though.
To make this smoothie – simply add all the ingredients to a blender, and blitz until completely smooth.

Super Green Celery Smoothie
- 1 Blender We used Ninja
- 1 rip diced celery washed and diced
- 1/2 cup/75g Frozen pineapple chunks
- Handful of spinach washed
- 1/3 avocado peeled and stone removed
- 300 ml coconut water or regular water
- Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blitz until smooth.
