Ingredients

Instructions

  1. To a blender add all the ingredients in no particular order.
  2. Blend for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Pour into a cup, add extra peanut butter on top, and enjoy!

This berry and peanut butter smoothie combines classic flavors that work very well together.

But, one of my personal favorite reasons why I love this smoothie is the fact that it only contains 4 ingredients, and it’s suitable for kids!

Strawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie

Since the smoothie is super simple with only 4 ingredients, you can, of course, elevate it a bit more by adding additional ingredients.

Or you can also swap some ingredients.

Below are some of my suggestions that I have personally tried in the past:

  1. Protein Boost: Add a scoop of protein powder for 20-25g of extra protein!
  2. Greens: Throw a cup of greens such as kale or spinach for increased nutrients without impacting the flavor of the smoothie.
  3. More Creaminess: Add 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt or vegan yogurt for extra creaminess and nutrients. 
  4. Make The Smoothie Vegan: Swap the honey for maple or agave syrup.
  5. Make It Nut-Free: Swap the almond milk for oat or soy milk.

I have only tested making this smoothie recipe using a Nutribullet 600 and my Vitamix.

If you are using other blenders, especially lower-speed ones, I suggest that you use more liquid to help the blending.
