Smoothie Variations & Recipe Notes

If you don’t have certain ingredients, or dislike some, here are some amazing alternatives you can use instead in this avocado smoothie:

  • Vegan: Use vegan yogurt instead of dairy Greek yogurt. Coconut yogurt is wonderful in this smoothie.
  • The Blueberries: Use fresh blueberries instead of frozen blueberries. But if you have available, add a couple of ice cubes.
  • Protein Boost: Add a scoop of unsweetened protein powder for extra protein.
  • Chocolate: For a chocolate twist, add a tablespoon of cacao or cocoa powder.
  • Sweetness: Adjust the sweetness by adding a teaspoon of honey or agave syrup.

This smoothie is very easy to blend, even my lower-speed blenders did a great job.

This means that even if you own a blender not listed above, which I have tested with this recipe, I believe the blender should work just fine.
