I love drinking this smoothie for breakfast and getting my day started with tons of nutrients.

Here’s an overview of the benefits of this kale and berry smoothie:

Smoothie Variations & Recipe Notes

If you don’t have the above ingredients or don’t like some, here are some alternatives you can use:

  • The Greens: You can use any greens you have or like. Spinach or other dark leafy greens will work just fine.
  • The Berries: You can use any other berries you like or have. I have personally tested blackberries and raspberries, and they both worked very well.
  • The Seeds: Use flaxseeds instead of chia seeds, or extra nut butter.
  • The Base: Use other milk of choice instead of almond milk. I have tried both almond and soy.
  • Protein Boost: Add a scoop of protein powder for extra protein. Use unsweetened protein powder.

Equipment:

Blender Type Suitability
Nutribullet 600
Vitamix Blender Propel 510
BlendJet 4000mAh x
Ninja Blender BL610
Oster 6640 Blender
Hamilton Beach 58148A Blender
AMZChef Blender 1800 W
Wamife Blender

The only blender that I do not recommend that you use to make this smoothie is the BlendJet 4000mAh.

It simply didn’t blend the ingredients as smoothly as the other blenders did.
