Smoothie Variations & Recipe Notes
If you don’t have the above ingredients or don’t like some, here are some alternatives you can use:
- The Greens: You can use any greens you have or like. Spinach or other dark leafy greens will work just fine.
- The Berries: You can use any other berries you like or have. I have personally tested blackberries and raspberries, and they both worked very well.
- The Seeds: Use flaxseeds instead of chia seeds, or extra nut butter.
- The Base: Use other milk of choice instead of almond milk. I have tried both almond and soy.
- Protein Boost: Add a scoop of protein powder for extra protein. Use unsweetened protein powder.
Maybe you donn’t have blueberries? Make a strawberry and kale smoothie instead! Just use strawberries instead of blueberries.

The only blender that I do not recommend that you use to make this smoothie is the BlendJet 4000mAh.
It simply didn’t blend the ingredients as smoothly as the other blenders did.
