Apple Grape Smoothie Benefits
This fruity grape smoothie has many benefits to it. All 4-ingredients are natural whole foods, which contribute to numerous nutrients.
I would like to point out, that I did NOT use grape juice. I used real whole grapes. Why? Because grape juice is not healthy or good for you.
Using the grapes directly from the source is what will give you the most benefits and nutrients.
This grape and apple smoothie is also dairy-free and vegan, making it suitable for almost every diet.
The smoothie is:
- Nutrient-Rich: The smoothie is loaded with vitamins and minerals from the kale, apple, and grapes.
- Rich In Antioxidants: Grapes and kale provide antioxidants that may help fight inflammation.
- High In Fiber: Apple and kale are good sources of fiber, aiding in digestion.
- Energy Boosting: The smoothie contains natural sugars from the fruits which helps boost energy.
- Supports Weight Loss Goals: The smoothie is low in calories and fat, making it a good weight-loss snack or breakfast.
Optional Recipe Variations And Smoothie Notes
You can easily make customizations to this smoothie.
Here are the options I have personally tested and loved:
- Swap The Type Of Grape: You can use any type of grape you like, such as black or pink grapes. Just make sure they are seedless.
- The Smoothie Base: Instead of coconut water, use dairy-free milk of choice, almond or oat work well!
- The Greens: Instead of kale, you can use spinach, swiss chard, or even watercress!
- Make It Filling: For a more nutrient-dense and filling smoothie, consider adding some nut butter too, a tablespoon of almond butter works great!
- Protein: Add a scoop of protein powder of your choice for 20-25g extra grams of protein per serving.

Although all my 8 different blenders worked with this recipe, the BlendJet 4000mAh didn’t achieve the smooth consistency other blenders did.
If blendjet is all you have at home, you can certainly make this smoothie, but the smoothie won’t be as smooth.
