We all struggle with bloating, at some point in our lives. Some of us struggle with it daily. This is why it’s good to start looking at ways to reduce your bloating.

I personally struggle with bloating a lot. I visited multiple doctors, and nobody could give me an answer to why.

They just labeled it as IBS, which is a diagnosis often given to people with digestive problems, doctors can’t diagnose.

Bloat Detox Drink

So, I went on a journey to find out what works for me, and also research, and work on natural remedies.

So, today, I have my own, personally developed bloat detox drink, that made a huge difference in my life.

Do Detox Drinks Work For Bloating?

Detox drinks for bloating can work for some people. but not everyone. There are many factors that can influence why you are bloated, and what you need to do to fight bloating.

Oftentimes, it takes major dietary and lifestyle changes to completely eliminate bloating.

Detox drinks for bloating can aid bloating, but they won’t necessarily cure you completely. You need to identify what your triggers are and rule out any potential food intolerances.

How Do I Detox To Stop Bloating?

Apart from drinking detox drinks or water, there are more things you can do, that can help bloating.

Starting with your diet is the first and best step you can take. You are bloated because of what you are eating.

In some rarer cases, it can be a medical condition that you are unaware of.

So, if you have tried everything, and nothing seems to be working, consult with your doctor.

However, if don’t think it might be a medical condition, then here’s the list of things you can do to reduce bloating:

  • Eat Smaller Meals Often
  • Take Walks After Meals
  • Exercise
  • Drink Plenty Of Water
  • Stop Drinking Sodas
  • Eat Gut Healthy Food
  • Try Detox Drinks

These are just some of the things you can do. But remember, your diet is the first place you should look at.

bloat detox drink ingredients

The ingredients I chose today to make this detox water for flat belly were carefully researched.

I didn’t just select random ingredients. This drink was created based on my lifelong battle with bloating. And this detox water has really helped me, and I truly hope it will help you too!

#1. Green Tea

Green Tea

Green soothes can GI tract, which allows your body to digest food better. This can help reduce bloating.

I love green tea because it offers numerous health benefits, and aiding bloating is one of them!

#2. Lime Juice & Slices

lime

If you didn’t know already, lime and lemon juice are a popular remedy for fighting stomach bloat.

Thanks to citric acid that lime has,  it promotes better digestion and helps relieve gas, which is key to anti-bloating.

#3. Cold Water & Ice

water

Drinking water and being hydrated is such an underrated remedy for bloating.

We all consume too much salt, especially due to the overconsumption of processed food.

Water helps with bloating by helping your removing body of excess sodium

#4. Cucumber

cucumber

Cucumber like water, is very hydrating, and easy to digest.

Many people use cucumber as a way to hydrate (in a delicious way) and for gas relief too.

Cucumber also adds freshness, when you are drinking a detox drink for a bloated stomach, you also want it to taste good.

#5. Ginger

ginger

According to ncbi.nlm.nih.gov, ginger has a carminative effect, which reduces the pressure on the lower esophageal sphincter, which helps reduce intestinal cramping flatulence and bloating.

Ginger is nature’s antibiotic. It contains so many health benefits, but its benefits lay predominately with the digestive system.

#6. Grapefruit

grapefruit

Grapefruit, just like other citrus fruits such as lime or lemon, are wonderful for your digestion.

A healthy digestion means less bloating and overall better health.

#7. Mint

mint

Mint, especially peppermint oil, is known to aid the symptoms of IBS, which commonly include bloating.

According to NHS, peppermint oil is antispasmodic, which helps relieve stomach pain (cramps), bloating, and gas.
