Is It OK To Put Uncooked Oatmeal In a Smoothie?

Oats are totally fine being added uncooked to your smoothies. Your body will break them down, and you will get the same benefits had you cooked them.

How Many Oats Should I Put In My Smoothie?

The number of oats you put in your smoothies will very much depend on your tastes and preferences.
A good rule of thumb is to add a few tablespoons of oats to your smoothies. Too much, and you may end up with smoothies tasting purely of oats.
