We have only used a little bit of tahini. Tahini gives this smoothie thickness, richness, and creaminess. Not to mention the extra fiber and protein. Making a wellness smoothie isn’t difficult at all. You just a handful of real ingredients that come straight from the source ideally, and you are good to go.
This lemon blueberry tahini smoothie is also vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free. We used a touch of maple syrup, just to break through the richness and bitterness of the tahini.
How To Make Healthy Blueberry Tahini Smoothie:
You will need:
2. Fresh Blueberries
3. Lemon Juice
4. Maple Syrup
5. Dairy-free Milk
6. Chia Seeds
To make this delicious maple lemon tahini smoothie, all you need to do is add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender, and blitz until smooth. It’s so easy, and yet so delicious and filling.
Of course, if you think that adding tahini to a smoothie is a terrible idea, you can sub the tahini for nut butter instead, like peanut butter, almond butter, etc. Or, if you are nut-free, just add sunflower seed butter.

Healthy Blueberry Tahini Smoothie
- 1 cup/150g of fresh blueberries
- 1 cup/250ml of dairy-free milk
- 1 tbsp of maple syrup
- 1 tbsp of tahini
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Using a high-speed blender, add all the ingredients to the blender and blitz until smooth.
