  • 1 large fresh or frozen peach (sliced, pitted)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or coconut milk (unsweetened )


  1. Prepare and measure your ingredients as instructed.
  2. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender starting first with the frozen fruit, followed by the other ingredients listed.
  3. Blend until smooth. For about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy!


Best consumed straight away, however, you can take it with you on the go too.

After numerous tests with my best friend, we both found that drinking this smoothie for breakfast as a meal replacement gave us the best results.

Here are some key reasons why this smoothie helped me and my best friend lose weight by drinking it for breakfast:

  • It’s a low-calorie breakfast choice compared to our usual breakfast, which typically packs 500-600 calories.
  • It’s filling, which helped us reduce the snacking through the day.
  • It helped curb sugar cravings, which allowed us to stay away from eating ice cream or other sugary snacks during the day.
  • It helped us feel energized. Often, when you eat a bad breakfast, you will just feel miserable and tired, which often leads to overindulging in snacks.

Do note that it takes other efforts to lose weight. Don’t expect to lose weight by simply drinking this smoothie.

You have to ensure that you control your portions and eat within reason throughout the day.

How Many Peach Smoothies To Drink To Lose Weight

My best friend and I tested only drinking this peach smoothie once a day (for breakfast) for 5 days straight. 

We have not tested other quantities. But from experience, once a day is more than enough. You will need to balance your meals after all.

Leaving enough calories for other food will help you consume other vital nutrients.

Recipe Variations And Substitution Ideas

Since I consumed this smoothie for 5 days straight, each day I fancied changing it up a bit.

Below are some of the variations that I tested which also came out delicious:

  • You can use frozen peach slices for an even more refreshing drink.
  • Instead of mango, you can use pineapple or bananas.
  • If you are vegan and want to make a peach smoothie without yogurt, use dairy-free yogurt.
  • For a more tropical flavor, use coconut milk instead of almond milk.
  • To make the smoothie richer and even more filling, add a tablespoon of cashew or almond butter.
