It’s the pumpkin season, so what better way to celebrate the fall season, than with a nice pumpkin smoothie?
A lot of pumpkin smoothie recipes often contain a form of nuts, especially peanut butter. Pumpkin goes well with nuts, but not many people can consume nuts due to allergies or intolerances.
Because we want to make sure nobody misses out on the pumpkin season, and with pumpkin smoothies, we decided to make our own nut-free banana pumpkin smoothie.
This pumpkin banana smoothie is totally vegan as well, so it’s suitable not only for nut-free folks but for vegans as well!
Nothing quite beats a pumpkin spice banana smoothie during the fall season. Sure, pumpkin spice lattes are great, but trying new things and getting your pumpkin fix via a smoothie is also a fantastic option you should try.
We used pumpkin puree from a can, but if you have leftover cooked pumpkin, or you have raw pumpkin, you can cook the pumpkin and use that instead of the pumpkin from a can!
